Nigel Peake was born in Ireland and trained as an architect, before devoting his time to drawing (relentlessly) and travelling (almost just as much, usually at the same time as drawing), while making his mark through a series of astonishing (and more often than not self-published) books on subjects such as sheds, buildings and ghost houses.
While the artist himself has travelled extensively across Europe, both on his bike and on foot, his work has also become known for travelling, through countries and mediums, from the lookbooks of luxury brand Hermès to magazines (The Believer, Blueprint, Icon, Dwell, The Ride, etc.), posters, windows, murals, accessories and even furniture.
Touring is an exclusive print and wrapping paper expressing the artist’s fondness for his long-time travelling companion: his bike.
Magma teamed up with Nigel Peake to produce this wrapping paper featuring one of his bike illustrations.
Printed with vegetable ink on unbleached paper made from 100% recycled waste - 100gsm 500 mm x 635 mm.
You get 5 sheets in a strong red Magma tube.
