Glasgow-based illustrator Christine Berrie effortlessly combines the industrial with the nostalgic to produce beautifully diagrammatic yet energetic illustrations. Through her exploration of the everyday objects and the habitats that surround her, she finds the extraordinary in the often very ordinary. ‘As cameras in the digital age become smaller in size and increasingly sleek, I was struck by the contrast of the large, rather bulky versions, all the tiny switches, graphics and details that adorned each model. This was what initially sparked my interest in drawing cameras’ says Christine.
