Stickers are the new flyers; street-based communication used by the hippest advertising agencies and the deepest underground artists from San Francisco to Berlin and Antwerp to Tokyo.

The exhibition coincides with the recent publication of "Stick 'Em Up", the first book investigating the latest street-art craze, which answers a need for instant coverage via barely conspicuous action. The book shows why these stickers are capable of blanket exposure at street level.

Looked at in close-up, with time for more than a glance on the street, they are distinctive artworks prepared from an array of materials and techniques including appropriated altered labels, self adhesive film, stencils, spray-paint, colour copies and computer print-outs.

Stick 'Em Up is the most amazing collection of stickers. Authors/curators have travelled around the world, climbing lamp-posts with their bottles of lighter fuel in search of the most interesting and visually arresting stickers.

And by the way, everyone is invited to bring their own stickers and participate in this highly democratic exhibition. So, bring your own lighter fuel & your own stickers and...

Stick 'Em Up!
